The inquest into the death of Yassar Yaqub started today (20th September). Mr Yaqub was shot dead by police in a car in which he was a passenger near junction 24 of the M62 motorway on the 2nd January 2017.
Tom Little KC and Patricia Londono are Counsel to the Inquest, which is being heard by the Recorder of Leeds, HHJ Guy Kearl.
