1 Chancery Lane is delighted to announce that Laura Johnson has been appointed Queen’s Counsel in the new Silk appointments announced by the Lord Chancellor today.
Laura was called to the Bar in 2001 and acts in valuable, complex, sensitive and high profile claims for claimants and defendants in the fields of clinical negligence, personal injury and police law. She was shortlisted for the Personal Injury Junior of the Year at this year’s Chambers UK Bar Awards and has long been recognised in the legal directories as a leading junior in all of her areas of practice.
The appointment of Queen’s Counsel follows an intensive application and interview process and reflects excellence in advocacy. Laura’s significant achievement is recognised by all at 1 Chancery Lane who offer huge congratulations to Laura on her well-deserved appointment.
