Deka Chambers prides itself on its serious, professional and long-standing commitment to managing issues of equality and diversity. It has been at the forefront of developing codes and practices and its training model has been adopted by the Bar Council.

It is Deka Chambers’ policy for all members of chambers and all staff to be trained in equality and diversity awareness. A team of equality and diversity officers (“the E&D Team”) is responsible for providing such training and for reviewing the chambers equality and diversity code. The team is also responsible for administering Deka Chambers’ robust grievance procedure.
