Tom Little QC has been appointed as Counsel to the Inquest touching the death of Yassar Yaqub who was shot and killed by an armed Police Officer on 2nd January 2017. The incident took place on a slip road at junction 24 to the M62. The Recorder of Leeds, His Honour Judge Kearl QC, has been appointed as the Coroner to hear the Inquest.
