We are now 9 Gough Chambers

News | Mon 18th May, 2020

After 26 very happy and successful years at 9 Gough Square we will move to new premises at 5 Norwich Street in 14 days time on 1st June 2020. We will still be the same set of chambers but just in a new building. As a result we have changed our name to 9 Gough Chambers as of today. This reflects the continuity of our brand and the continuity of a modern, successful, professional and approachable set of chambers. Our new building is equipped with state of the art facilities including a large suite of conference rooms allowing us to hold conferences, JSMs and lectures.

Head of Chambers Jacob Levy QC commenting on both the change of name and the forthcoming move stated:

“Chambers is delighted to inform you that from today we shall be known as 9 GOUGH CHAMBERS and we will be moving physically from the 1st of June 2020 to a modern, new premises at 5 Norwich Street, London EC4A 1EJ.

We currently live in uncertain times but one certainty maintains: those of us at 9 Gough Chambers remain wholly committed to offering all of our lay and professional clients the best ongoing service in oral and written advocacy. We remain dedicated to delivering consistent, first class advice.

We do hope it isn’t too long before we can welcome all of you in person to our new home. Until then, remain safe and well.”

We have a new website address www.dekachambers.com and we also all have new email addresses. They follow the same format as before so Jacob Levy QC’s email is now jlevy@9goughchambers.co.uk

If you forget that we have changed our email addresses, don’t worry, we will still receive all emails sent to the old email addresses. The general clerks email address will now be clerks@9goughchambers.co.uk but our telephone numbers remain the same.
