Andrew Ritchie QC is chairing the Frenkel Topping Deputy Day Conference 2017: In Best Interests: a unique look at the responsibilities, pressures and the continued practical challenges that impact on ensuring the wellbeing of vulnerable individuals across England and Wales.
The CPD conference will feature keynote speaker Alan Eccles from the Office of the Public Guardian, Patricia Wass who is the Worldwide Chair of Step, plus experts from across the industry. Andrew Ritchie QC and Ed Lamb will be talking on ‘Supported Capacity.’
The speakers aim to share their thoughts on the role of deputies and trustees as an ‘officious bystander’ to protect and account for the wellbeing of vulnerable individuals. The event will include time for breakout sessions, in the form of our Wellbeing Collaborative Hubs. The hub sessions provide an opportunity for deputies to discuss their concerns and share experiences with professionals in a confidential environment.
Deputy Day 2017: In Best Interests, is ideal for professional deputies, trustees, litigation and private client experts as well as case managers and other professionals who help enhance the quality of life and, importantly, long term wellbeing of vulnerable clients.
