The annual 9 Gough Chambers Clinical Negligence seminar took place on Thursday 1 October and was attended by over 75 delegates.
Speakers included our head of chambers Andrew Ritchie QC, Christopher Stephenson and medical experts Dr Tim Read and Mr Nick Parkhouse. Between them they provided interesting and informative talks on pressure sore negligence cases and clinical negligence in psychiatric medicine. Lynn Buckley from Frenkel Topping gave an insightful talk on the implications of the Care Act for practitioners and William Dean gave a succinct round up of the legal updates in the Clinical Negligence field.
Feedback from attendees was extremely positive with comments such as “very informative”, “excellent” and “made me look at pressure sore cases in a different light”.
