Megan practises in all areas of Chambers’ work, appearing in court on a daily basis as well as developing her own paperwork practice.

Megan joined Chambers in October 2024 after successfully completing her pupillage under the supervision of Roderick Abbott, Sarah Hunwick, Kate Lamont, Giles Bedloe and Laura Hibberd.

She has experience prosecuting and defending in the Crown and Magistrates’ Court, dealing with cross-examining vulnerable witnesses, legal arguments and victimless prosecutions. She has also represented police forces for civil orders, including Stalking Protection Orders and Domestic Violence Protection Orders. Megan regularly appears in the Family Court, representing Local Authorities and parents in public law hearings, including those on an emergency basis. She also practises in personal injury and travel law, having acted in trials, Stage 3 hearings, approval hearings and interlocutory applications.

Prior to coming to the bar, Megan was President of Inner Temple Mooting Society, a Student Adviser for BPP’s Pro Bono Legal Clinic and a Centre Manager for an international summer school company.  In her free time, Megan enjoys choral singing, having previously been a member of Canterbury Cathedral’s first Girls’ Choir.
