Charlie is a second six pupil in Chambers, under the supervision of Holly Tibbits. He is available for instruction across Chambers’ practice areas. In his first six, Charlie spent time shadowing in all our core teams; Civil (supervised by Adam Dawson), Family (supervised by Kate Lamont) and Crime (supervised by Eleanor Mawrey).
Charlie attended Cardiff University where he studied BA History and the GDL, before completing the Bar Practice Course at the University of Law. Following university, Charlie worked as a paralegal assisting in the Phone Hacking litigation. He went on to work as a self-employed County Court Advocate, where he received daily instructions across a wide caseload, including possession, bankruptcy, civil applications and procedural hearings, and small claims trials.
In his spare time Charlie enjoys participating in various sports, attending live sport, music, and theatre events, and enjoying good food.
