Charlie Blair

Charlie Blair joined Deka Chambers as a tenant after the successful completion of his pupillage in 2026. He accepts instructions across Chambers’ main areas of practice.

Prior to pupillage, Charlie worked as a paralegal at Allen & Overy and at Stewarts. In the latter role, he represented numerous disabled clients before the Social Security Tribunal.

Charlie has a strong commitment to pro bono work and has volunteered with several organisations and charities supporting disabled adults and children. As part of the School Exclusion Project, he represented children before Independent Review Panels, challenging the lawfulness of their permanent exclusions.
