27/11/2025

On 26 November 2025, Cyrus Katrak and William Dean delivered training on the Ogden Tables, calculating losses and litigation strategy to lawyers at the Medical and Dentistry Defence Union of Scotland at the MDDUS’s London office.

Cyrus spoke about the proper use of the Ogden Tables as well as the data and history underpinning them and how different approaches can result in markedly different outcomes at trial and in negotiation. William reviewed recent judicial decisions in the area to illustrate those points.

Members of Deka Chambers regularly lecture and provide training in all of our major practice areas. If you are interested in receiving training, please contact our clerking team at clerks@dekachambers.com
