Event Date: 19th November 2025
6pm - 7pm
On 19 November 2025, Deka Chambers hosted its online pupillage information event.
In this webinar attendees heard about pupillage at Deka Chambers, a common law (mixed practice) set of chambers based in London.
Three Deka Chambers barristers, Eleanor Mawrey, Ben Rodgers and Madeleine Miller, explained what pupillage at our set is like, the sort of work undertaken by new practitioners, how to build a practice and the areas of work available to tenants.
Our Joint Deputy Senior Clerk, David Barrow, spoke about professional support and practice development. Our speakers also covered the process of applying to Deka Chambers and what we look for from candidates for pupillage, and answered questions submitted before the webinar and live during the webinar.
There is much more information about our application process on our pupillage pages.
