Event Date:
Barristers from Deka Chambers attended the Legal Cheek pupillage fair on 9 October 2025. We enjoyed meeting all of the prospective applicants who came to speak to us. Two of our junior tenants, Bethany Hutchison and Anirudh Mandagere, answered questions about applying for pupillage and their practices in tenancy. Our Heads of Pupillage also attended to answer questions about our pupillage programme and application process.
Deka Chambers is a common law (mixed practice) set of chambers based in London with 110 members including 16 silks. We will be recruiting pupils for October 2027 in the upcoming application round, in line with the Bar Council timetable.
We will have a stand at the Bar Council pupillage fair on 18 October, when we look forward to meeting more future pupils in person. Please come and see us there. One of our Heads of Pupillage will also be speaking on the panel in the “CV Building, Pupillage and How to Get It” session.
If you are interested in learning more about pupillage at Deka Chambers and how to apply, please sign up for our free online Q&A session on 19 November 2025. Details can be found on this page.
