After 5 years as Head of 1 Chancery Lane and then 3 as Joint Head of Deka Chambers, Simon Readhead KC will be stepping down from that role.

We are grateful for Simon’s leadership and guidance to members and staff during his tenure. Simon will concentrate on his wide-ranging practice for both claimants and defendants in all aspects of medico-legal law.
Tom Little KC, First Senior Treasury Counsel, will be the Head of Chambers from 3 October 2025.
