The Southport Inquiry is hearing opening statements this week. The Inquiry is chaired by Sir Adrian Fulford and has been set up to examine the events leading up to the attack at a children’s dance class in Southport in July 2024 and the circumstances surrounding it.

Laura Johnson KC is instructed in the Inquiry on behalf of Lancashire County Council, along with Samantha Bowcock KC of 15 Winckley Square Chambers. Laura is instructed by Paul Tarne and Rosanne McNeil of Weightmans.
