On 1 July, chambers was delighted to welcome leaders and members of the CPS Homicide Unit for a training and social evening.
First Senior Treasury Counsel and Joint Head of Chambers Tom Little KC, was able to draw upon his experience of prosecuting some of the UK’s highest profile cases whilst James Thacker KC, Head of the Deka Crime Team provided insights from some recent cases.
In addition to training, the evening provided an opportunity for the CPS staff to meet members of the Deka Crime Team over some drinks and canapes, on our terrace; where the Deka sunglasses proved an essential accessory on the warmest day of the year.
