Following a three-week trial at the Old Bailey Marcos Monzo was convicted of the murder of 14 year old Daniel Anjorin. Tom Little KC was leading counsel for the prosecution. The defendant attacked Daniel Anjorin with a samurai sword as he walking to school. The issue on that offence was one of diminished responsibility. The jury rejected that partial defence. In addition the defendant was convicted of three offences of attempted murder (including of a Police officer) and two offences of wounding with intent. He will be sentenced on 27th June 2025.
