Join us at The Hoxton, Holborn on Thursday, 13th February 2025 for our half day conference on Accidents and Deaths Abroad.
We are delighted that we will be joined by Sir Peter Thornton KC, Former Chief Coroner of England and Wales, for a talk on deaths abroad, considering why England and Wales has the most extensive death investigation scheme in the world, and also why coroners’ reports to prevent future deaths are so important.
We will also be joined by renowned plastic surgeon Fulvio Urso-Baiarda who will be talking about the common problems and pitfalls with surgery abroad.
Along with a talk on group claims from Matthew Chapman KC, a panel session focusing on the use of expert evidence in inquests and trials, and a case law update, the conference will provide useful insights for all practitioners dealing with accidents and deaths abroad.
The conference will be followed by a drinks and canapés reception.
