Yesterday, Deka Chambers, in collaboration with HF, presented a mock trial and an appeal for Hastings Direct in Bexhill. The trial concerned non tariff injury inflation, claims layering and fundamental dishonesty.
The proceedings were presented by Roger André, Simon Trigger and Bernard Pressman. Brendan Hill of HF acted as the claimant witness. Morgan Davies and Bethany Mills of HF engaged the audience of 110 Hastings Direct delegates with discussion, interactive polls and quizzes. Valuable insights were shared and the event concluded with a sing song, led by Roger André, with full participation from the room.
