Jennie Oborne represented the Chief Constable of Hertfordshire Constabulary in respect of an application to forfeit £1.4 million held in a series of third party accounts controlled by the interested party. The investigation had revealed a complex set of transactions that demonstrated that the funds were the product of a payroll fraud.
An appeal against the forfeiture order under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 was abandoned at St Albans Crown Court on 2nd July 2024.
