Members and staff at Deka Chambers enjoyed meeting the winners and runners up of the Aqeel H Noorali Essay Competition in chambers last night. Following a speech from Joint Head of Chambers Jacob Levy KC, the winners were presented with their certificates and prizes and then had a chance to speak with some of Deka’s barristers.

The legal essay competition is organised in partnership with BVL in memory of dear friend Aqeel H Noorali, who was a talented and dedicated barrister who particularly enjoyed arguing novel points of law.
