It is with great pleasure that Deka Chambers announces that Sarah Prager has been appointed King’s Counsel in the Ministry of Justice’s new Silk appointments published today, 23 December 2022.
Sarah was called to the Bar in 1997 and specialises in travel law claims. She undertakes work in all areas of cross border work, encompassing claims involving issues of private international law, package holidays, international carriage, contractual recovery and cross border clinical negligence, and her caseload reflects this breadth of practice. She co-authors the leading travel law textbook, Saggerson on Travel Law and Litigation and has long been top ranked in the legal directories as a leading junior.
The appointment of King’s Counsel follows an intensive application and interview process and reflects excellence in advocacy. Sarah will formally take Silk before the Lord Chancellor in a ceremony at Westminster Hall in March 2023.
Everyone at Deka Chambers offers huge congratulations to Sarah on her well-deserved appointment.
Deka Chambers now boasts 15 KCS. The full list of King’s Counsel appointments can be viewed here.
