Stephanie Hayward interviews Tom Little QC about his role leading the prosecution for the kidnap, rape and murder of Sarah Everard. A ‘watershed’ moment for policing, Stephanie asks Tom whether the circumstances of this case will increase focus and priority on tackling violence against women and girls. With low rape convictions a priority for the Government, this podcast considers measures that may be taken to improve them, and ultimately, whether public trust in policing can be restored.
This podcast contains references to sexual violence and sexual assault.
