We are delighted to announce that 9 Gough Chambers has been shortlisted for Chambers of the Year at the Family Law Awards 2020. Chambers has been nominated for the breadth of expertise within the family law team and for the team’s collaborative and collegiate approach to working. Our nomination describes the set as ‘exceptional, with diligent, hardworking and conscientious barristers’ and the clerks are praised for being ‘outstanding’ and ‘willing and able to assist’.
Additionally, Thomas Jones has been shortlisted for Young Barrister of the Year. Thomas was nominated for his expertise in dealing with cases which overlap the jurisdictions of the Family Court and the Court of Protection. His nomination describes him as ‘a formidable force in cases where there is an interplay between the two jurisdictions’.
We are hugely grateful to our solicitors for these nominations and look forward to the remote award ceremony in November.
