James Thacker represents the Appropriate Authority in Met Police Disciplinary proceedings

MM and SC, Police Constables within the employ of the Metropolitan Police Service, faced multiple allegations of operational dishonesty and discreditable conduct. Over the course of a 5 day socially distanced hearing at Empress State Building James Thacker called a number of witnesses and cross examined MM, SC and a Professor of Psychology.

Following closing submissions, the panel found each allegation proven and dismissed both MM and SC without notice.

James Thacker was instructed by the Directorate of Professional Standards, Metropolitan Police Service.
