In the past few weeks some courts have moved back towards “business as usual” with increased use of video conferencing technology.

“The technology worked well and the trial process was quite close to “normal”. It helped that the Claimant’s solicitors had put together a well-organised electronic trial bundle using case management software. There was an issue with one witness who had not downloaded the trial bundle and another witness who had problems with their microphone but there was nothing that could not be resolved with a short adjournment and a bit of co-operation between the parties and the court.”
