Gastric Illness Claims

The Court of Appeal handed down judgment in Wood v TUI Travel PLC [2017] 1 Lloyd’s Rep 322
on 16th January 2017. It is the first appellate authority regarding the liability of travel companies
for gastric illness caused by alleged food poisoning, and is one of the most important decisions
for the industry in recent times.
