The Defendant (Mr Heath) was charged with a Public Order Act offence for being abusive towards staff at Stanstead Airport. He and his wife were late to catch their plane and claimed to have had difficulty in being let through a barrier in their car. Mr Heath then entered the meet and greet area and was abusive and shouting at the staff. The case was to be heard as a trial on 10th May 2015, however, Mr Heath pleaded guilty to an altered Public Order Act offence.
