Tim Godfrey prosecutes six defendants in a fraud involving approximately £5 million of public money

Tim Godfrey has been instructed by the Serious Fraud Office to prosecute six defendants in a fraud involving approximately £5 million of public money intended to be used to fund the training of apprentices working in the football industry.

Mark Aizlewood, Christopher Martin, Keith Williams, Paul, Sugrue, Steven Gooding and Jack Harper have been charged with fraud offences. Following a hearing at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on 4 May 2016, they are due to appear at Southwark Crown Court on 1 June 2016.
