Tom Restall secures over £200,000 for injured man after judge prefers Claimant’s pain expert

Tom acted for the Claimant who sustained potentially life-threatening chest injuries in a high speed motorway collision. The man developed two distinct chronic pain conditions as well as an ongoing psychiatric condition. At a two-day trial the court heard two experienced pain consultants who gave conflicting evidence as to the likely prognosis for the Claimant. Giving judgment last week, the court accepted the evidence of the Claimant’s expert and awarded the Claimant over £200,000.
