Four runners from 9 Gough Chambers ran 10 Kilometres on Sunday 12 July at the British 10K London Run to raise money for two charities.
Jaime Brooks and James Tippey from our clerk’s room and barrister John Schmitt joined forces to raise money for the Child Brain Injury Trust (CBIT). CBIT provides non medical services to families affected by childhood acquired brain injury across the UK. 9 Gough Chambers work closely with CBIT and have previously run charity events to raise funds for this leading voluntary sector organisation.
Eleanor Mawrey ran to raise money for Mind, the mental health charity that offers help and support to people suffering from mental health problems and raises awareness of mental health issues suffered by 1 in 4 people in the UK.
Jaime and James finished in just over 46 minutes and John and Eleanor finished in just over an hour.
