Giles Eyre and Stuart McKechnie to speak at the Royal College of Anaesthetists’ Faculty of Pain Study Day

Giles Eyre and Stuart Mckechnie are delighted to be speaking at this year’s Faculty of Pain (FPM) Study Day taking place on Friday 5 June at the Royal College of Anaesthetists. Tickets are on sale now and the event is expected to be worth 5 CPD points. The training will centre on Medico-legal Issues in Pain Medicine and the programme includes:

  • Issues around consent, guidelines and judging standards of clinical practise
  • The medico-legal assessment of a patient in pain
  • Determinants of chronic pain in the long term: advising the court
  • Medico-legal pitfalls of clinical pain practice
  • How not to get sued
  • A master class in medicolegal report writing
  • Jumping into a blackhole: horror stories from expert witness work

Giles Eyre and Stuart McKechnie will be covering the last two talks on Medicolegal Report Writing and Expert Witness work respectively.
